Kai Tak Airport was a decommissioned civilian airport in Hong Kong, located in Kai Tak, Kowloon City, Kowloon. It operated for 73 years, from January 25, 1925, to approximately 1:20 AM on July 6, 1998. At the time of its operation, Kai Tak Airport was one of the world's busiest international airports, ranking third globally in passenger traffic and first in cargo traffic. However, due to its location in urban Hong Kong, single runway, and surrounding high-density buildings with limited airspace, the Hong Kong government announced in 1989, in consideration of safety and needs, the construction of a new airport on reclamation land at Chek Lap Kok, northwest of Lantau Island. The new airport project took eight years to complete and opened in July 1998, at which point Kai Tak Airport completed its historical mission and officially closed. During its operation, Kai Tak Airport was once known as one of the "World's Ten Most Dangerous Airports." After years of research and discussion, the Hong Kong government launched the "Kai Tak Development Plan" at the original site of Kai Tak Airport.

We had dinner then headed to night market. Woman street area is popular night market in Hong Kong near Mong Kok station. Here you can find many souvenirs such as magnets and T shirt.
