Visit form Taiwan- 貴客到

Amy picked up our sister inlaws parents from the
airport tonight. They will stay over tonight and
Amy will put them on a plane to Arizona in the morning.
They are going to their daughters graduation at
Arizona State University. She will then come to Campbell
to stay with us for a while.

今天我大嫂的爸媽重台灣來訪, 他們停留一晚之後,明天出發到亞歷參那州去參加我大嫂的畢業典禮. 想想也真快, 兩年一轉眼就過去了!

What's for dinner??- 晚餐吃什麼??

We have a simple dinner tonight. Vegetable curry with murshroom soup.

今天的晚餐很簡單, 有蔬菜加哩和金針菇湯. 別小看這一碗不起眼的湯, 它可是用日本清酒的酒粕當湯底, 很營養的!

Dinner time-吃大餐

I must be very hungry because I was so into making food tonight. Lucky Bo get to have a good meal!

今晚一定是肚子太餓, 居然煮了一桌子的菜. 有炒牛旁, 魯黃豆與烤蘆筍, 夠豐富吧?! Bo 還拿出紅酒來助興!

Michelin Man-米其霖

Tonight I had to get an oil change and saw a perfect photo op. Everytime I put on a few pounds Amy calls me Michelin Man.

今晚跟BO一起去換機油, 在等候的時候, BO看到他的好弟兄, 因為每次他便胖時, 我都稱呼他米其霖先生.

Big Roses- 好大的玫瑰

These Roses are the biggest we have ever seen. They are next to the Campbell Museum Downtown.

今天去農夫市場的路上, 看到這超大的玫瑰花. 看看它機乎比我的臉還要大, 可怕吧!

Crazy Wind- 吹大風

Today is the Wente road race. It take places at Altamont Pass right next to highway 580. It is crazy winding, you can see that from the windmills and my hair!

今天比賽的地點是在離家一小時的山區, 風好大ㄡ!! 看看我身後的風車與我的一頭亂髮, 可以想像風力之大!

Ansley House-我家隔壁的博物館

Ansley house is a historical museum next to my house. We love their garden and this year the roses are beautiful!

昨天走路去圖書館的路上, 看到我家隔壁博物館的花開的十分美麗.今天特別照張相來與大家分享.

Homemake soap- 做馬賽皂

Bo make me this soap box for my new habit. I can't wait for my new soap to come out of the mold. I am making the Castile soap with lavander EO tonight. Castile soap has 72% olive oil is very mild to skin.

今天我用Bo為我量身製作的盒子做肥皂, 這個盒子兩側有活門方便取出肥皂. 這次做的馬賽皂是橄欖油高達７２％的歐洲貴族皂, 聽說滋潤效果很好.

Rose Garden- 玫瑰花

I planted 2 rose bursh when we move into this house. This year the rose are blooming like crazy.

四年前我們搬進現在的家之後, 我第一個要求就是要種玫瑰花. 今年的玫瑰長的很茂盛, 你看有好多的花苞. 我通常會把它們剪下來帶到公司, 這樣就可以充分欣賞, 並可以與同事分享.

PB&H- 健康早餐

Every night I will make 2 PB&H for the next day. I really like my homemade bread and it is very easy and heathlier breakfast.

每晚我會做兩個三明治, 裏面包有機花生醬和純天然蜂蜜. 自家做的麵包是最好的簡單健康早餐.

dinner at the Tied House- 吃晚餐

After the monthly cycling club meeting. Bo and I eating have a late dinner at Tied House in Mountain View.

在每月腳踏車隊月會之後, 我們到旁邊的餐廳吃晚餐. 今天的氣溫很高, 白天最高溫達33度, 真是很熱.

100% HAND MADE SOAP- 熏衣草香皂

Those are my lavender soap. I made those with my girlfriend Shannon and Jessica yesterday and today I un-mold them and cut into pieces. They smell very nice. I can't wait to shower with it!

這是我今天脫磨的熏衣草香皂, 昨天下午和潔西卡與辣媽一起做的肥皂, 經過二十四個小時的冷卻後, 今天就可以脫磨與切割. 辣媽供獻的香精很棒, 我等不級要洗香浴澡!

Bread throw down- 麵包賽

Today I want to my friend Jessica's house with my bread machine. We use the same recipes but look at how our bread turn out!

今天我帶著麵包機到好朋友潔希卡家, 我們使用一樣的食譜, 可是看看我們麵包的長像可是大不同ㄡ!! 潔希卡的先生湯姆蒙面試吃的結果, 也是我的好吃. 真幸運買到一臺好麵包機!

Out the mold- 亮相了!

Day two of the soap making. I release the soap from the mold and it is perfect! Now I just need to wait for 4-6 weeks to use my first soap!

今天我把肥皂從模型中取出, 它們好可愛ㄡ! 風乾和皂化後就可以使用, 真是等不及.

Making Soap-做肥皂

I don't know why Amy comes up with these crazy ideas like making soap but if it makes her happy I am all for it! I never knew that it takes a month to make soap.
這是我的新試驗, 聽說手工天然皂對我敏感的皮膚很好, 所以我就自己動手做. 從純天然的才料, 讓我等不及要用, 可惜要等六周才能成熟.

Our homework-甜蜜的作業

Amy started the blog and now I have to cover for her. What have we gotten ourselfs into?

每天晚上我們會寫部落格, 我們分工合作. Bo 寫英文板, 我寫中文. 我們都覺得這是一個計錄生活的好方法.

Home Sweet Home-甜蜜的家

It's 9:30pm and very windy outside. I wanted to check to see if any trees have fallen. We heard loud bang earlier in the evening. Everything looks okay but I took the opertunity to take our daily photo. Our hair is quite a mess due to the wind blowing like crazy.

Bo the dog- 第一忠狗

Bo is mad because he gets the same name as "first dog". Why can't pepole just use nomal dog name like "Lucky" or "Spot"...?

美國第一家庭加入新成員, 第一忠狗的名資叫BO. 我家BO很不以為然, 因為他覺得狗因該有狗名, 像是來福,小白...等.

Milton CA-田園小鎮

Amy and I drove to a race in Milton CA. The building in the photo is the

only Building in Milton. This time of year when all the fields are green it is quite beautiful.

這是我們今天比賽的小鎮, 照片中的房屋是這鎮上唯一的建築物, 鎮上以務農為生.

Second Floor on our house? -加蓋二樓

This would be our view from our new Master Bedroom. This is only a dream right now.

Bo的夢想是在我家上加蓋二樓. 如果他的夢想成真, 我們家就可以看到很美的風景.

Bocce Ball Losers- 推球大賽

Today we played Bocce Ball with about 150 people from the companies that we do business with. We were split in to teams of four. We made it to the top 16 before being eliminated. It was great fun until we lost.

今天我們工會舉辦推球賽, 大約150人參加. 我們的隊進入16強決賽, 可惜無法進級總決賽. 但是大家玩的很開心.
