Last sunrise of 2009-美麗的日出

I took those pictures on my way to work. The sky is so beautiful! Goodbye 2009, hello 2010!
這是我今早上班路上的隨手拍，這是2009年最後的一次日出。好快！一年就過去了。希望2010年天天平安，事事順心。

Dinner with family-一起吃飯

We went to Fresh Choice for a quick dinner. This is the first time Chiung and Chia-Wen had picey orange.
哥和佳雯明天就要南下去省親，所以我們聚在一起吃晚飯。我們去家附近的沙拉吧，吃飽後我們吃超小橘子，這是哥和佳雯第一次看到這可愛的小橘子，它很甜，哥一口吃半個！

Pealla-西班牙飯

I am trying out new recipes tonight. I love pealla and I think mine turn out good! Maybe a little too wet, but it still tasty!
今晚嘗試做西班牙飯，它有一點像中國人的繪飯。把青樕，洋蔥，蕃茄炒一下，放入生米，調味料和水，煮熟煮乾就好了。因為放的是義大利的米，所以是黏黏的。

Raining day, soup day- 雨天喝湯

I love to have hot soup in the raining day. Tonight I made veggie chili with beer bread. It is a easy but healthy dinner!
下雨天我最喜歡喝熱湯，所以今晚我煮了一大鍋豆子濃湯。有別於中國菜的清湯，美國人喜歡濃濃的湯。今天的湯中有蕃茄，黑豆，玉米，大紅豆，洋蔥與義大利瓜。配上新烤出爐的麵包，簡單又營養！

Busy day-忙碌的一天

After a quick breakfast with my brother. We pick up some vagetable to make pot stickers. It turn out very well and we had a lot of fun making it.
今早與哥哥和佳雯吃完豆漿後，我們買了高麗菜，紅蘿蔔，豆干和粉絲回家包水餃。當我在桿水餃皮時，哥哥在包餃子，我們花了大約一個多小時，就準備好可口的＂純手工＂水餃，不錯吧！

Acupuncture- 點耳穴

This morning we went to nutution class. We ask brother Han to do ear acupunture.
今早營養課時，我們請漢大哥幫哥哥點耳穴。其實我們身體上的部位，都在耳朵上有相關的穴位。看到佳雯在背後做鬼臉嗎？因為如果穴道不通暢，點了就會酸痛，哥哥一直痛的做怪臉，男生總不能哇哇大叫吧！

Christmas day-聖誕曰

After we open up all of the wonderful gift, my bro and sis join us for breakfast. This is a easy and low key holiday but we really enjoy it!
今早打開所有的禮物後，哥和佳雯來找我們一起吃飯。我買了第一件小陽裝給我末來的小姪女（如果是男生怎麼辦呢？）。我們一起去吃早餐後，就在家理看看電視，休息休息。

Merry X'mas- 聖誕節

Bo and I are too lazy to decorate our house and too cheap to get the tree. We agree to place gifts under our plastic house plant. Tonight we went to our friend's house for dinner and "borrow" their tree for a Christmas picture.
今年我和Bo都太懶與太小氣，所以都沒有佈置家裏。我們把收到的禮物放在家裏的塑膠樹下。趁著今晚在朋友家過聖誕夜時，借他們家的樹當背景，拍照作記念！明天早上會和哥與佳雯一起吃早餐。

Purple rice- 紫米油飯

My favorte pot return from warranty. I can't wait to make the purple rice. It is so simple and only 20 mins. Dinner is ready!
等了好久，我最寶貝的鍋子終於到了。這個陶磁不沾鍋只要20分鐘，就煮好香噴噴的紫米油飯，超級簡單，連Bo都愛吃！

First day of winter- 冬至

Today is the first day if winter. According to the Chinese treaditional, we need to have rice ball for dessert. I bought three different kind of filling so Bo can try them. But too bad, he took one bit than refuse to have more.
今天是冬至，依照傳統，要吃湯圓，我準備好了三種不同口味的湯圓。可惜Bo吃了一口就不肯吃了，真是浪費我的一番好意。也好，我就自己享受了！

What's for dinner?- 晚飯吃什麼？

This is Amy's creation#1132! I like to cook but hardly follow any recipes. Tonight we have homemade spinach noodles with tofu and veggies. I also made a saseme pan cake. I have fun making dinner and it is a kind if stress relief!
今晚我又隨性做了一些波菜麵，配上了一鍋青菜豆腐醬，外加一個芝麻大餅。我喜歡煮飯，即好玩又能解除疲累的心情，常常亂搞一通，很好玩！

Mix grain bum- 雜糧饅頭

I made some Chinese steam bum today. I like to have them for breakfast. It is very easy and healthy way to start a day.
今天趁著有空，我做了一些雜糧饅頭。做了幾次後，越來越簡單順手。這樣一來，下週的早餐就解決了！

Scary fact-作實驗

Today we did a experiment during our nutrition class. We put some iodide into some instant noodles and it turn black! This show my how bad instant noodles do to our body. We added vitamen C into the mix and it not only clear out the water, but also clean up the noodles! Wow! Good thing I have not had any instant noodles for a year!
今天營養課時，我們做了一個簡單的泡麵實驗，我們在泡麵中加入碘酒後，一切都變成黑色，可怕吧！幸好我己經一年沒吃泡麵，要不然這些烏潻馬黑的東西在肚子裏，怎麼好呢？解毒的方法是吃下維他命C後，看看這些麵都還原。可是還是不要吃的好！

I got off my car this morning in my company lot and saw the blue sky through the yellow leaves. It is so beautiful! I enjoy seeing all the narture beauty.
今早開車到公司，停好車推開車門看到這幅美麗的景色，透過黃黃紅紅的葉子，看到美麗的藍天。真的感覺到造物主的巧手天功！

My loaner car- 借用的車

We drop off our car for oil change and schedule check out. Toyota found some problem with my car but it will be fix under the warranty. They gave me a loaner car to use until I have my car back.
我把車子送埸換機油時，車場發現了一些毛病，幸好車子還在保顧的時效內，所以保險會把車修好，除此之外他們還租了一台車讓我代步，不錯吧！

Fire Academy Graduation-新消防員

Our friend Jill graduated from the fire academy tonight. We are very happy for her!
今晚我們去參加朋友的畢業典禮，她將成為新的消防隊員，我們為她很高興，典禮完後我們一起去慶祝！

Evil season-充滿誘惑的季節

This is the most evil time of the year! A lot of vender stop by and drop off gifts. This basket showed up today and I kept walk by to got something to eat!
這是一個最可怕的季節，為什麼呢？因為很多下游的場商，會趁著這個時間來拜訪我們，他們也會帶來一些禮物。這一籃東西就是今天的禮物，唉！這實在太邪惡了！

Love hurts- Bo的毅力

In order to keep in top shape, Bo ride his bike inside the house during cold winter. I admire his disapline.
Bo為了保持他的體力，就連加班回家後，他還是堅持騎他的車。事實上我真的很佩服他的恆心，要是我早就放棄了！

My new investment-為了健康的投資

After a long debeat, we finally pick out the best water filter! Our body contain 80% of water, drinking clean water is the foundation of healthier life. It looks very nice in my kitchen! Thank you my plumber hubby to put it in!

經過長時間的考量後，我買了最好的紫外線濾水器。一個人身上百分之八十是水份，我怎麼能掉以輕心呢？再怎麼說這小錢是省不得的，要不然禍從口入呀！

Steam bum-菜包子

I made some veggie steam bum this morning. I think they turn out very well!
今天早上趁著有空，我做了一些素菜包，裏面包了高麗菜，香菇和豆皮。這次包子發的很漂亮，當然也分了一些給哥哥和學姊。

Chinese pesto - 香椿醬

I love chinese pesto sauce! I picked up the pesto green from the farmers market and blanded them with Ginger and tea tree oil. I kept my Chinese pesto in the fridge so I can have it with my dry noodles!
我很喜歡吃香椿醬，它有一種特殊的味道，不是每一個人都喜歡這種味道。我在農夫市場買了香椿後，加入薑和苦茶油打成醬，冰在冰箱想用的時候就很方便！

Twin-新朋友

My pink bike get a new friend! The weather is getting to cold so Bo set up his trainer next to mine. Good thing our living room is not too small!
我的粉紅車多了一個新朋友！由於氣溫非常的低，Bo把他的腳踏車架在我的旁邊，辛好我們的客廳還算大，放了二台車還不算小！

It's cold!-超級冷

I took this picture to show you how cold it was this morning. I crave for hot soup in cold weather, I asked Chia-Wen to come over for some Chinese hot pot!
今早出門時非常冷，一看儀表板上顯示只有零下一度，難怪很冷。下班後去買了一些蔬菜，找佳雯來家裏吃火鍋。

Tree log- 聖誕樹

I love holiday season! This is a christman tree log close to my house. All those tree are ready to be pick up to go to each house, to join each family to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!
我很喜歡年底，家家戶戶準備過節，感覺十分的溫馨。這是在家附近的聖誕樹園，這一棵棵的小樹都在等待一個有緣的家庭，他們就可以與他們的新家人一起渡過這美好的佳節。

Snow in the Williams- 下雪了

My friend Jeff live in Santa Curz Mountain, it is about 20 mins from my house, he took those pictures this morning. It's snowing! It is so peaceful and beautiful!
下雪了! 為什麼這麼新奇呢? 因為這是我朋友在山上的家, 從我們家開車不到20分鐘的路程. 他今天早上寄給我這些照片, 這樣你就可以想像外面有多冷. 這白色的景色, 真是好美!

Baby shower- 慶生會

I went to Robin's baby shower today. It was so nice to met her family and friends. Robin was reading the card that Bo wrote to her. By looked at her facial expression, I guess he wrote something good.
在美國，他們會在小孩出生前，舉辦一個派對，慶祝小生命的誕生。大部分的時候只有女性的親朋好友參與，大家都會準備小孩需要的用品做為禮物。今天是我們朋友的慶生會，看看滿桌的禮物，準媽媽正在讀Bo寫的卡片。

Sesame bum-芝麻包子

This morning I got up too early and could not go back to sleep. So I decided to try a new recepies. Those sesame bum turn out very well and tasty!
今天早上太早起床沒事做，我決定來試做芝麻包子。我用果汁機把黑芝麻打碎，再加入紅糖和椰子油，包進發好的麵團中，就成了我下週的早餐。哥哥剛好來家理，一口氣吞了三個，應該不難吃吧！

Timer switch-定時器

I went to the store for a new tool. Why do I need a timer? I can set up the timer to turn on my steamer to heat up my breakfast. Good idea, right?
今天我去五金店買了這個新幫手。我要把這個定時器接到我的大同電鍋上，只要睡前設定好我的電鍋，時間到了就通電。這樣一來我每天早上就有熱騰騰的自製包子。不錯的主意吧！
