Bo回家的路上, 看到這個天才在高速公路上, 時速100.這也太蹧蹋賓士車了!

Farm fresh -農場來的蔬果

Our friend is out of town and ask us to pick up his fresh fram vegetable. We make green bean with carret to go with spagitti tonight. It is very tasty!

我們的朋友又出門旅行, 所以我們又繼承他們的新鮮農場蔬菜, 看看這一桌的蔬菜, 夠新鮮吧! 今晚就把四季豆與紅蘿蔔炒一炒, 配義大利麵吃 ,真是很甜美!

What's for dinner- 晚餐吃什麼

This is my favorite one pot dinner. I mix vegetables and cooked brown rice, top it with cheese. Who didn't like creaming cheey food?! See aMY'S kitchen for recipes.
今晚煮了一鍋大鍋飯, 其實非常簡單, 把青菜炒一炒後, 加入煮熟的飯, 再混入起司, 放入烤箱把起司融化後, 就是一道簡單美味的簡餐. 清除剩飯的好妙方!

PBH- 花生蜂蜜三明治

I bake a new loaf of bread today. I like to make my own bread so I know all the ingredients in it. I only use the bread machine to mix the dough then bake it in the oven. Bo like to has his peanut butter and honey sandwich for breakfast.
今天烤了一條新的麵包. 我喜歡自己做的麵包, 因為吃的很安心. 今天的麵包是在麵包機裡攪拌, 但是我把麵團拿出放烤箱裡用玻璃盒烤. 因為麵包機裡的烤盤是鐵芙蓉的, 加熱對人不好.BO 最喜歡自家做的花生蜂蜜三明治當早餐.

New bedroom- 新房間

We finally have time to set up our bedroom. Now we have one room for bed and the other for office. It is nice to have lots of space.
終於把床搬好!! 自從哥搬家後, 一直沒時間收拾我的家. 現在我們可以有一間書房, 與一間臥室. 生活的空間寬大許多.

Beautiful day - 美好的一天

This morning we walk to get breakfast at Aqui in downtown. After the big meal, we walk through the farmer's market. Those sunflower are so beautiful! I also pick up some vegetable and fruits.
今早我們走路去吃早餐, 所有的食材都是有機的. 我們吃飽之後到農夫市場逛逛, 看到許多美麗的太陽花, 我順便買了綠花菜和水蜜桃.

HoneyBerry- 吃冰去

Tonight Chai-wen and Chiung came by our house. We went to have some frozen yogurt. This is the green tea ice and it's great and great for sharing.
今晚哥哥和佳雯與我們一起去吃冰, 我點了一份綠茶冰, 夠大吧! 幸好我與佳雯供加吃, 要不然可吃不完. 吃完冰我與佳雯直發抖!

My wife hard at work- 永遠做不完

Friday night laundry. She never quits running around. She is such a hard worker. I need to go help before I get in trouble.
就正如媽媽常說的, 家事永遠做不完. 昨晚回家後把床單撥下來洗, 今早又洗了一籃衣物, 晚上把烘乾的衣物折好歸位, 真是忙不完!

Home sweet home- 回家了!

I return home today after 4 days training in southern Cal. Bo pick me up from SFO anf we stop by the open market at Mountain View. I pick up some fruit and vagetable.
出差四天後, 今天搭機回家. 我很喜歡從天空鳥看舊金山, 有一種說不出來的美. 從機場回家的路上, 我們到我最喜歡的歐式市場買蔬果. 玉米很新鮮, 所以我買回家馬上就蒸來吃, BO 一口氣吃了三支.

Family visit in Southern California

I had dinner tonight with my cousin and her children in Diamond Bar, CA. It has been four years since my last visit. My cousin and her kids prepare the all vegitarian dinner, it was delicious. I had a great time visiting them and hope to see them again soon.
今天去慧娟表姊家吃晚餐, 表姊家在加州的鑽石巴市. 好久沒有見到表姊, 上次見面已經是四年前, 表姊和她乖巧的一對兒女準備了豐盛的素食晚餐, 真是希望能趕快再來拜訪她.

Mother's Market Irvine, CA- 有機餐點

This market is 10 mins away from my hotel. It is a local organic market. This is what I had for dinner. The food court deli has all organic vagetarian food. I ordered Gingered greens tempeh over brown rice with a side salad.
這是離飯店10分鐘遠的市場. 專門販賣有機食品. 我在這裡買晚餐, 他有賣有機的素食餐點,我點了薑炒豆末, 配上糙米飯以及沙拉.

LA training- LA行

This is my fight to LA. It is the smallest plant I had been on. It can only sit 3 person per roll.
這是我去LA的飛機, 是我搭過最小的, 他每一排的座位只有三個人.

On the other hand, my company gets me a big car! It can sit 7 person. It drives very well.

公司給我租了一台大車, 可以做7個人喔!

This is the outside of our LA office. It is very small but this is our headquart. I will soend 4 days here for training.
這是總公司的大門, 我會在這裡進行四天的訓練.

Wine tasting 品酒去

We are doing something beside bike racing!!! We went to Sunol for some local wine tasting. This winery is very small but they produce all their wine on site.
不一樣的周日呦! 我們到附近的酒莊品酒, 這酒莊雖然不大, 可是所有的酒都是本地種植與釀造的, 我們不太懂酒,但是覺得它的甜酒都不錯 !

Honeyberry - 吃冰去

This is our new hangout pot. It is a frozen yogurt shop! You get in and create your own yogurt cup. There are 4 different yogurt and 40 kind of topping. Good place for hot summer night!
終於有機會到這間冰品店嘗嘗, 這是一家好玩的冰店, 一共有四種不同口味的霜淇淋. 有原味, 綠茶, 芒果和荔枝. 上面還可以放上不同的水果與糖果, 都是自助式的, 最後秤重付錢, 就好像臺灣的自助冰.

New Style -新造型

I get a new hair cut! My hair is getting to long and out of shape. I finally find time to have my hair cut. It still long but the band make me look younger. Bo really like it!
爭扎了很久, 終於有時間去剪頭髮. 我的頭髮一直都是長長扁扁的, 沒有什麼造型. 這次把一些分岔的髮尾修一修, 再剪個留海, 怎麼樣! 年輕十歲吧 !!!

Back to traditional - 回歸傳統

After reading through all the bad thing about Teflon nonstick cookware. I decided to make change and upgrade all my cookware. After makeing a lot of research, I choose to purches the traditional taiwanese rice cooker. I grow up with Tatumg rice cooker and it is one of the best easy to use kitchen applicance. I can make rice, steam vegetable and make strew all in one pot!

在讀完所有有關不沾鍋帶來的病痛後, 我狠下心換掉所有的鍋子. 比較所有不同的電鍋後, 我決定買最傳統的大同電鍋, 它的不鏽鋼鍋 與蒸煮功能, 實在不錯, 再加上可愛的造型, 真有家的味道!

Summer dinner- 夏日晚餐

This dish is served cold, which is great when it's 100 degress outside. It has peanut sauce that Amy makes from peanut butter. Once again I am so lucky too have great meals everyday.
晚餐吃什麼呢??? 涼麵!!氣溫節節高伸, 大家都熱的沒有食慾, 這時後來碗涼麵最好了! 日本喬麥麵配上豆腐, 小黃瓜, 花椰菜, 豆芽 , 紅椒與生菜. 簡單又營養豐富.

Handy man! - 好工匠

The temperture is heating up and Bo have problem sleep at night. He came home with a air condetion! We are sure to have a cool summer!
天氣越來越熱, BO 晚上經常睡不好, 今天回家的路上, 他買了一台好東西--冷氣機. 三兩下就裝好了 ,雖然看起來有點醜, 可是為了一夜好眠, 也只好將就一點了.

Good eat - 回娘家

We went to my brother's house for dinner. My sis-in-law fix us delicious all vegetarian dinner. It's good to have family live close by.
今晚到哥哥家吃晚餐, 佳雯今天不用上班, 所以煮了一桌好菜請我們, 配上她的拿手大嫂麵, 真是豐富又幸福.

Different kind of racing- 不一樣的比賽

Today we went to watch Monica's boat racing at Oakland. This is the state champenship race. and her team won! It is good to do something different!
今天我們到奧克蘭去觀看Monica的划船比賽, Monica 的船隊勇得州冠軍! 除了每週觀看Bo 的腳踏車比賽, 換換口味也不錯!

Fmaily Time - 家庭聚餐

After Bo's sister visited. My cousin from Riverside visiting us today. We have some simple home make food and great time catching up with family.
今天二哥一家人來訪, 我準備一些簡單的菜餚, 大家一起吃飯聊聊天. 有我最常煮的加哩, 豆腐, 還有剛從農夫市場買回來的芥藍菜, 大人小孩都吃的很開心.

Dinner with Monica - 妹妹來訪

Monica come up to visit us this weekend. She is going to some boat racing. We went out to dinner at Aqui downtown Campbell.
Bo的妹妹和妹夫來我們家, 我們一起去吃晚餐. 就在Campbell的市中心, 它所有的食材都是天然有機的, 我們時常光臨, 因為它好吃又很近.

Concert on the park- 演唱會

Concert night! We pack our food and met up with our friend in the park. It is very nice to have a nice relax night with music and company.
一週一次的演唱會又來到, 我們與一群好朋友帶著晚餐, 一起聊天欣賞音樂. 這樣幽閒的日子,實在不錯.

Bean and Rice- 黑豆匯飯

Again, this is my new creation. I mix rice with black bean, top it with purple carbege, cheese and Salsa. Easy summer food with all the nutrition.

這又是我的新發明, 糙米飯和黑豆, 再加上紫色的高麗菜, 配上起司和蕃茄, 健康美味又營養.

Honey Oatmeal Soap-新皂試用

This is my newest soap. It has beewax and oatmeal in it with sweet almond oil. They are all organic, I am going to shower with it tonight!
這是最新的蜂蜜燕麥皂, 它是由蜂膠燕麥與杏仁油製造而成, 都是天然有機的.

Home sweet home-我們的家

This is now our new living room layout. The old sofa went to a new home with Amy's brother. We now need to find another big sofa, the one that Amy has always wanted but needed an excuse to get it. The little sofa will do for now.
昨天哥哥把大沙發搬走後 我們把小皮沙發重新搬到客廳. 也許這次我們會買一個喜歡又適合的沙發.

From Resident to Visitor- 居民變來賓

Amy's brother and sister in-law got their own pad this weekend we now have a lot more room to roam in our house.
這週末哥與佳雯搬出去自己的公寓, 家突然大了好多! 今晚他們回來找我們一起去吃晚飯, 大家都還不大習慣, 因為他們現在是客人了!

Race in the camp-軍營比賽

Today's race took place in a speical location. Camp San Luis Obispo Military Base. It was built during WWII. This is the only day of the year when civillans can get on to the base to race bicycles.

今天比賽的地點很特殊, 在市在家裡以南三小時車程的軍營. 這是為了比賽特別開放進出的, 所有的人車都需要檢查, 這軍營是在二次大戰時建立訓練軍隊, 可惜不能隨便照相, 只好在大門照張相留念.

Bubble Gum Alley-口香糖巷

We drove down to San Los Opspo for a bike race. This is one of the famous local spots. Do you see all the color dots on the wall? That is bubble gum! Gross, right?!

今天我們到離家三小時遠的小鎮比賽, 這是一個大學城, 有許多有趣的地標, 最有名的是這口香糖巷. 看看我身邊這一堆五顏六色的點點嗎? 這可是許多口香糖堆積起來的. 夠嘔心吧!

Amy at work- 工地察訪

Today I want to the jobsite to check out our new project. I always like the fieldtrip but not too happy about all the dust.
今天我到工地做實地考察, 在我身邊的就是我們的儀器. 工地雖然好玩, 不過到處灰塵, 搞的我 一身灰.

Tomato and Basil-等待等待

My little tomato starting to show. They are so cute! I also plant some basil. We can't wait to have some salad!
小小的蕃茄好可愛呦! 每天努力澆水, 看到蕃茄們一天天的長大, 實在很高興. 我的九層塔已經等不急要做沙拉喽!
