BIG FEET- 大腳
Bo and I both get new bike shoes this week. This feet is so hugh that make mine look like a kid's shoes!我們兩都買新的腳踏車鞋, BO 的腳非常大, 使我的鞋相對看起來, 像是給小朋友穿的. 十分秀氣.
Ice Bath- 泡冰塊
We hear a lot of good thing about ice bath. Bo finally gave it a try after the race. We dump two cooler full of ice into the tub. Bo keep screaming when he sit in the ice bath. He didn't stay any extra second once the 10 mins up. We will see if the ice bath help him recover for tomorrow's race!聽說泡冰塊澡能消除疲勞, 今天比賽之後, Bo鼓起勇氣嘗試. 旅館裡有很大的製冰器, 我們搬了兩大桶的冰塊倒進澡盆裡, Bo 坐進去之後一直大叫! 很好笑! 終於坐滿十分鐘後, 他衝忙跳出來. 明天比賽就知道有沒有效!

今天的氣溫很高, 有40度 一點風都沒有. 雲層很低, 跟本沒有太陽, 就好像在烤箱裡一樣. 可能就因為熱 ,落日出奇的美!
Halloween- 萬聖節
I want to do some shopping therapy after work. I saw some kid's costumes and they are very cute! I love the dragon and butterfly!萬聖節是美國人的鬼節, 美國 人們常常在萬聖節穿著打扮, 就是不要讓鬼認出來 .現在轉變為小朋友的節日, 他們可以穿著可愛的戲服, 挨家挨戶的要糖果. 這小蝴蝶與小龍可愛吧?!
Bagel Day- 早餐
Wednesday is bagel day at work. Our vender will bring use big bags of bagel. Today I have saseme bagel. It is very good!每周三我們的廠商都會帶Bagel 來給我們, 今天我選了芝麻口味的, 烤了一下再夾上起司, 就成了美味可口的免費早餐!
Big Mass- 亂七八糟
I have a deadline this week, so my desk is a big mass. Trust me, I clean up every hour but things just keep pile up...drawings, books, research materials....what a mass!這星期非常忙, 必須在星期五前,完成我的設計. 我的桌子一團糟, 書本, 圖稿與文件, 多的不得了! 我一直努力保持整齊, 可是..... 很難! 很難!

Right next to the finish line of San Ardo race is this big field of onion! I saw workers picking them up and stack them into bags. Those on the ground are the reject! Poor onions!今天比賽的終點旁, 是一大片的洋蔥田., 我看到許多的工人在採收洋蔥 他們把好的洋蔥裝在麻袋裡, 這些剩下的就成為堆肥. 好可惜.. 真想偷偷帶回家!

Remember I planted the yam months ago?! It finally grow leafs! I can't want for them to growth more. My mother also just blanch the leafs and eat them with soy sauce and it double Yam-O!記得它嗎? 我的有機蕃薯終於長葉子了! 我等不及它長成滿滿的一大盤蕃薯葉, 這可是百分之一百有機的營養美食.
Giant Tomato!- 超大的蕃茄
Can you see the size of this tomato?! It's huge! Our friend is out of town again, he gave us all the fram fresh fruit and veggie.看看這超大的蕃茄 夠大吧?! 比我的手掌還要大!!! 真是可怕, 我們的朋友又出門旅行, 又讓我們嘗嘗農場來的新鮮疏果. 這顆蕃茄就在其中, 我一個人一定吃不完!

今晚BO騎車回家後, 吵著要吃墨西哥脆餅沾蕃茄沾醬. 所以我自己做了一碗公給他吃, 說穿了很簡單, 就是蕃茄打泥 ,加入洋蔥泥, 香菜, 鹽 和檸檬汁. BO抱著碗公吃得樂的很!
Home sweet home -甜蜜的家
I get home from LA tonight. There is no better place than home. Bo is very proud of himself because he went to the store and got himself some gorcery. This is the lundry detergent that he picked and it is earth-friendly!
終於回到家了, 真的是像俗話說的,金窩銀窩都沒有自己的狗窩好. 平常從不上市場的BO很驕傲的展示他去超市買回來的果汁和這一瓶洗衣精, 還興奮的解釋環保洗衣精的好處, 就像劉姥姥進大觀園一樣好笑.
Business Trip
I came down to LA with my friend Ellen after work for business meeting tomorrow. We rented a cool yellow car and it is very fun to drive around. After dinner we went to the hot tub for some quality time!

Suison Crit -小海灣
Who say bike racing sucks? Most of the time I actually enjoy it. I get to visited central vally and all those little town. Today's race is right next to a small harbor, about an hour and half north from my house.誰說腳踏車比賽很無聊?! 我事實上蠻喜歡到處去看看, 所以再陪公子練車之外, 我也順便光觀. 尤其是一些名不見經傳的小鎮, 別有一番風味. 今天比賽的,點是離家一個半小時的小海灣. 景色非常的幽靜 .
Feed Zone Grapes- 葡萄園
These Grapes looked so Yummy. These are really for wine so they teast different then the grapes that your buy in the store. Even when you go to places that look like the desert you can still find things growing thanks to the California Serria Mountians where all the water comes from.

I took Bart to Richmend to met up with Bo after work. It is nice a releax ride. We are going to Woodland for a bike racing tomorrow. Here are a lot of farm land. We saw a truck with lots of tomatos!今天下班後坐電車去找BO, 因為明天的比賽是在北邊, 所以重BO那邊出發比較順路. 比賽的城市是一以農業為生的小鎮, 所以有許多的農地. 我看到許多卡車載滿了一車車的蕃茄.
Summer Concert -演唱會
Thursday concert night! Two more week to end of the Campbell concert serious. I make some fresh roll and we had a picnic at the park. Mike took Felicia over and I had so much fun dancing with her!又到星期四演唱會 ,我今天準備了蔬菜捲, 沾上花生醬, 非常適合夏天吃. 今天的蔬菜捲裏有豆芽菜, 紅蘿蔔, 豆腐, 紫色高麗菜和羅馬生菜. 我一個人就吃了四捲!
Oragnic food from Taiwan- 家鄉來的美味
I went to the store and find some new products on the shelf! Those are organic product from Taiwan! Just like what I can get back home! I am so happy to find some trusty brand.看看我找到什麼?! 我幾乎不能相信我的眼睛, 當我看到一整排里仁產品, 我當場破產了!! 我買了一包有機香菇, 豆輪, 喉糖, 還有好吃的里仁煎餅. 這下子我可以買的安心, 吃的放心.
Home made Pasta Salad- 義大利涼麵
Our friend gave us some Squash from his home garden. Amy made a wonderful pasta salad with them. As soon as I took my first bite I realize they were really Yellow Cucumbers. They were delicious and luckly Amy did not cook them.
BO帶回家一大包的義大利瓜, 這是我們同事家種的., 我炒熟了紅蘿蔔 與洋蔥 再混合了義大利瓜與煮熟的義大利麵, 淋上蘋果醋, 鹽, 糊椒和橄欖油, 一點點帕司麗和起司, 涼涼的吃, 最適合夏天簡餐!
Chinese rice cake - 再試一次
I find a new recipes to make chinse rice cake. I mix rice flour, turnip and onion. Steam it for 40 mins and let it cool down. I will cut it into piece and pan fry until golden brown.今天找到新的蘿蔔糕食譜, 這個食譜的方式很簡單. 把蘿蔔刨成絲後, 炒熟加入米粉與水, 放入電鍋蒸熟就好了, 等明天切來吃吃看就知道好不好.
Bo's new sleeping spot- 測試新沙發
I gat up this morning and can't find Bo in bed. I went to the living room and found him sleeping in the new sofa. He said he was tasting out the sofa and it is good!今早醒來找不到BO,. 走到客廳發現他在沙發上睡覺 他說半夜肚子餓, 起床吃了東西後, 就在沙發上睡著了. 我就知道他一定會常常找機會,在客廳睡覺, 因為新沙發又大又舒服
BIKE CLINIC - 修腳踏車
Bo helping Chiung fix his bike today. Chiung's bike needs a new shifter and we bought one from Bo's friend. Now with the new shifter and new crang, Chiung can ride his bike faster!今天趁著BO有空, 哥哥把他的腳踏車帶過來修理. 他的車變速器一直壞掉, 我們跟BO的朋友買了一個二手的. 現在換好了變速器, 再加上新的齒輪盤, 哥哥騎車的速度就應該會快一點了!
Bargen shopper- 經打細算
Bo think I sould teaching "shopping class". I like to do window shopping and look for deal. Today I went to Kohel's next to our house after work. I find some clothes and household stuff. I bring home 5 items and spend less than $10. My saving today is $74.36. No wonder Bo didn't mind me shopping...
Bo每次都非常佩服我買東西經打細算的能力, 今天下班後到家附近的店走走, 我買了一件卡其褲, 一件洋娃娃裝上衣, 一個麵包烤盤, 與兩條小毛巾. 原價總質85元的東西一共花費是10元(三百臺幣). 為什麼那麼便宜呢 ?因為我有一張十元的折價卷, 再加上我買的都是打折品, 也許這就是BO不反對我逛街的原因, 他知道太貴的東西我是買不下手的.
New sofa - 新沙發
After 4 years of research, we finally get our biggest investment. We really love this hugh sofa. It is very comfortable and you can see, Bo find his new napping spot...經過四年的思考與調查, 我們終於買下我們最大的傢俱. 這個大皮沙發很舒服, 可以坐很多人, 看看BO找到新的地點睡午覺!
Zuccini and bread- 簡易晚餐
I make this big pot of food for dinner. It didn't look too good on the picture but it is very tasty. I mix zuccini, carrot, corn and cube garlie bread with cream of mushroom soup, bake it for an hour and it's a simple easy casserole.別小看這不是很美麗的晚飯, 它可是很美味的呦!! 我把節瓜, 紅蘿蔔, 玉米, 洋蔥與大蒜麵包, 加上一些魔姑湯, 放入烤箱一小時候, 就成為這簡單的焗飯, 特別吧!
Edamame monster - 毛豆王子
Bo loves edamame! Every time he can chew down a big bowl by himself. I guess it's ok because edamame has lots of nature Protein, Omega-3, Vitamin A&B and Calcium. Lot's of good stuff!BO最喜歡吃毛豆, 一次可以吃一大鍋! 我常常搶不到兩口!!! 毛豆的營養價值很高, 不只有豐富的蛋白質, 甘油, 維他命A 與B 還有鈣質. 是一種不錯的零食.
Fresh Coconut -椰子汁
They are selling fresh coconut at the supermarket and I can not stop myself to bring it home. It seems so easy at the store when they cut it open. It took me some effert to chop open the top! But the juice is very tasty and I scrap all the coconut meat out! Yammy!我在超市看到賣椰子, 忍不住買一棵來試試. 電視上老闆一刀就砍下的缺口, 可是我拿菜刀王, 慢慢砍出來的. 現在我萬分佩服老闆的刀工! 新鮮的椰汁很美味, 我拿湯匙把椰肉都刮下來吃!!
Sunday Dinner- 家庭聚餐
Tonight Chiung and Chia-Wen come over for dinner. They also bring a bottle of white wine to share. It is nice to see them after a long week. We just have some simple homemake food.今晚請哥與佳雯回家吃飯, 他們還帶來一瓶白酒. 能與家人一起吃頓家常飯, 是非常幸福的. 我今早做了一盤蘿蔔糕, 大家都覺得不難吃, 連Bo 都搶著吃 ,我覺得有一點太黏, 下次可以改進!
Charlie Hong Kong- 我的最愛
We went to Santa Cruz for a bike racing this morning. After the race, we stop by our farvort chinese place. Every there is organic and tasty!這間長的怪怪的餐廳, 有我們最喜歡的中國菜. 事實上是美式中餐, 這就是我不惜開車40分鐘的美食, 這涼麵可是我們的最愛. 一大碗有機生菜, 配上豆干與酪梨, 淋上麻油和醋.... 太好吃了!!!
