Sushi boat -壽司船

Today my brother take me to have some easy Japanese sushi. Each person can fill up their own hot tea from the the conter. Sushi are very cheap here compare to US, it's only a dollar per dish!
今天弟弟請我去吃壽司，最特別的是這水籠頭，每個人可以自己加熱茶。壽司在台灣實在便宜，一盤只要$30!

Steam bum-蒸包子

After making taro cake, I ask my aunt teaching me making steam bum. Look at those bum, they are so yummy!
去阿姨家學做芋頭糕後，我今天請舅媽教我蒸包子，看看這一粿粿飽滿的包子，真是好吃極了！

Guava-芭樂

Mu uncle bought us those gaint guava. It is hugh and very sweet! It's only 30 cent each! I can eat one for lunch by myself.
舅舅送我們這超大的芭樂，它們不只甜，還十分便宜，一粿只要10元喔！

Traditional breakfast-中式早餐

Bo always wonder why I love Chinese breakfast, he thinks it is very unhealthy. I guess fry bread is the same as donut!
回家多日，今天終於吃到了燒餅油條。Bo永遠搞不懂這有什麼好吃，我想這就像甜甜圈一樣不營養的早點。

Traditional delight- 中國美食

I love Chinese taro cake! I arrange to have my aunts teaching me how to make those. It might not be a good idea to learn to make this, I have 3 piece once it got our of steamer!
今天去阿姨家拜師學藝，因為我太愛吃芋頭糕，所以趕快到集集的阿姨家，學習怎麼做這古早味，中午舅媽炒米粉，外加阿姨準備的配菜，真是太幸福了！

Playing Maijan-打麻將

What to do in Chinese New Year? Play with our family! Bo refresh his memery and play with my family, he won couple game and make a little money!
過年做什麼呢？當然是找家人朋友打麻將了。球先生的記憶不錯，馬上記得2年前爸爸教他怎麼玩，就和我的表親們玩了起來，還贏了錢吔！

Suger in the stick-吃甘庶

As part if the family tradition, we visited drive around to visit all my families in the first day of new year. Bo had a chance to try suger cane, he think that is the most crazy fruit! It's suger in the stick!
按照我們家的傳統，我們到姑姑家去拜年。到了么姑家時，他們剛好有朋友送來新鮮的甘庶，我家的球先生可是幸奮的，他說甘庶是糖水裝在桿子中邪惡的水果！

A long day

After 13th and half hours of fly, we finally arrived to Taiwan. We took the "Green Bus" to Thaichuang. We are very happy to see my mother and brother.

Coffee corner

This is the food area in the airplant. We think the coffee in China airline is good, Bo gave it a two thumps up!

Going home-回家

We are in the airport waiting to take off. I can't wait to see my mom! Happy Chinese New Year!
我們在機場準備登機，想想再一下就可以看到媽媽了，真好！

Chloe May Williams-新生命

Our friend Jeff and Robin welcome their first baby on the 7th! We are so happy for them and Chloe is so beautiful!
我們好朋友上週曰生下他們的第一個寶寶，她好小好可愛！祝福她平平安安，健康快樂！

Getting ready-做準備

Before we take off to Taiwan, we like to get our tax square away. I took Bart to met Bo in Oakland to do our annual visit to our tax lady.
在回家過年前，我們要把去年的稅報好。於是下班後，我座著快車去和老公會面，進行我們一年一度的稅務整理。

Green card-綠卡

After being abord for 15 years, I make my parent's dream come true. I think this shows all my hard work, finished school, found job, get my green card than citizenship. Now I can bring my mom over to enjoy her retirement!
今天是非常特別的日子，Bo從郵局取回媽媽的綠卡，這代表著我對父母親的期望有交待，來美15年，讀書，工作，綠卡，成為公民，現在我可以報答爸媽，讓媽媽可以隨時進出美國。爸爸，我做到了！
