Shannon, Shiau and I went out this morning. We had pastry and coffee at my favorite spot.
We got tickets to visit the Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza and go up the tower at Torre de San Francisco de Borja.
We met up with Rita for lunch tapas at the oldest cafe in Zaragoza.
We went home to pack our bags then head to the train station to Cordoba. It’s about 3 hours train ride we took a nap and Bo checkout the bar cart.
During these Muslim periods, Córdoba was transformed into a world leading center of education and learning, producing figures such as Maimonides, Averroes, Ibn Hazm, and Al-Zahrawi, and by the 10th century it had grown to be the second-largest city in Europe. Following the Christian conquest in 1236, it became part of the Crown of Castile. Our hotel was 5mins away from the train station. We went for a nice evening walk around town after a quick rest at hotel rooms.
