Þingvellir National Park

Þingvellir is the historical and geological treasure of Iceland, wrapped in scenic beauty. From the age of settlement 930 AD until 1789 the Icelandic parliament Alþingi met here, and on the 17th of June 1944, Iceland proclaimed its independence from Denmark at this significant place. Since 2004, Þingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Þingvellir, the tectonic plates drift apart, the crevasses being visible in Almannagjá canyon as well as in Silfra, where it is possible to dive and snorkel between the continents. The biggest natural lake in Iceland, Þingvallavatn, and the Öxaráfoss waterfall add to the scenic beauty of Þingvellir National Park.
Geysir

Gullfoss waterfall

Iceland Horse

Icelandic horses have five gaits. It is the only horse breed in Iceland. It also enjoys a reputation in the world, and a large number of people live in Europe and North America. In Iceland, they will be used to help with grazing, entertainment, equestrian performances and horse racing.

We spent $4.5 for an Iceland made coke. It tasted very different from others.
Iceland Costco
回家路上開始下雨，我們去了Costco加油，順利逛一下，冰島的物價非常高，大概是北美的兩倍！我們吃了Pizza和冰島特色加了炸洋蔥碎的熱狗。冰島幣100大約美金一元。
It began to rain on the way home. We went to Costco to refuel and walk around. The price in Iceland is very high, about double of North America! We had Pizza and a hot dog with fried onions in Iceland.
