Bo did a quick ride to the trailhead while I went to pick up water and fill up with gas. I was able to find a good price on the gas when all the stations seemed to go up 40 cents overnight.

Ozark National Forest
The forest was created in 1908 by proclamation of President Theodore Roosevelt. The forest is home to over 500 species of trees and woody plants. Hardwoods, predominantly oak and hickory, comprise the majority of the forest. The forest contains five designated wilderness areas and several Wildlife Management Areas.

Hemmed-In Hollow Falls
Beautiful place. The beautiful waterfall is 2.5 mile hike down from the parking lot. The hike down to the river is not easy but we enjoy seeing the surrounding foliage. Beautiful pebbles too!

We found a good family style thai food place close to our hotel. Bo had green curry, I had hot soup. We both love our food.
