2021 RETIREMENT ROAD TRIP

Louisiana – Mississippi – Alabama – Florida

This is Bo here writing today’s blog.

We went for a beautiful walk in the New Orleans Garden District today. There are homes as old as the 1750s and perfectly maintained.

我比較喜歡白天的新紐奧良！吃完簡單的早餐後，我們走去豪宅區，這裏的房子有些是275歲喔！

We then drove to Mississippi for a walk on the beach. I though we might get some relief from the heat but no change. We walked along the beach boulevard in Bay Saint Louis MS. The homes were beautiful, they were all new construction. We then found why, hurricane Katrina had destroyed the originals in 2005. After our walk we headed out to our next sleep spot in Pensacola FL. During our drive I made a mistake, I mistakenly reset the Trip Odometer which was at 2,200 miles since we had left Capitola CA. Amy and I really wanted to take a photo of the Odometer when we reached the Atlantic Ocean, dang!

離開新紐奧良之後，繼續往東到達密西西比的海邊。Gulf海灣在美東南沿海，這裏每年都有劇風來襲，在2005年幾乎全部毀壞，現在看到的房子都是之後從建的。(不要問我為什麼大中午在外面曬太陽走路，導遊帶隊）

We then made a few stops, one in Alabama to get a delicious Pizza and one at a giant Gas Station. It looked like a giant Truck Stop but trucks were not allowed, only cars. It had a convenience store the size of a Walmart but only had items you might need while on the road.

到佛州之前，我看到一個非常大的加油站，它的商店裏面跟一個大超市一樣大！
