Bo here, today we went to the top of the 630’ tall Saint Louis Arch. Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a weighted catenary arch, it is the world’s tallest arch, the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere, and Missouri’s tallest accessible building.
今早起床後，走路到這次旅行我要求的景點- 聖路易斯拱門，為密蘇里州聖路易的一座紀念碑式的建築，位於密西西比河河畔，被譽為通往美國西部的大門。大拱門高192公尺，是世界上最高的拱形建築，西半球最高的紀念碑式建築，這拱門象徵美國往西發的大門。建築於1963，花了兩年半的時間完工，工程耗資一千三百萬美元。

在展覽館看完介紹工程的電影之後，我們搭電梯上去拱門頂，上面可以看到聖路易市，還有河岸對面的伊利諾州。
We then went to Forest Park which hosted the Worlds Fair in 1904.
之後我們去參觀這一個小溫室公園，這公園是在1904年世界展望會蓋的，我非常喜歡外面的蓮花池！
We did not get back on the road till 3:30 in the afternoon, just enough time to make our way to the next stop in Salina KS. Salina is a little City halfway between Saint Louis MO and Denver CO. Tomorrow we continue on to Denver for a few days of biking and hiking.
